Job Summary

David Bradley Associates is seeking an experienced Air Export Coordinator on behalf of a well-established international freight forwarder based at JFK Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic logistics team responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of international air export shipments ensuring smooth timely and compliant operations.

Manage the full air export process from booking through to delivery.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers airlines and customs brokers.
Prepare and process export documentation accurately and in compliance with international shipping regulations.
Coordinate air shipments to ensure timely movement and adherence to U.S. and foreign customs requirements.
Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive communication to customers.
Obtain and manage rate quotations liaising with carriers to ensure optimal routing and cost efficiency.
Maintain organized records documentation and correspondence related to export activities.
Collaborate with internal departments to support seamless operational flow.

Requirements

Proficiency in CargoWise is essential candidates must have hands-on experience with the system.
Minimum 23 years of experience in air export operations ideally within freight forwarding or logistics.
Strong knowledge of international air freight procedures and export compliance regulations.

Required Skills:

Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within the logistics or oil & gas industry. Solid understanding of project logistics freight forwarding and supply chain operations particularly in energy or industrial sectors. Strong experience in client engagement contract negotiation and solution selling. Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Logistics Engineering or a related field.
