Position Overview South Shore Kia is seeking a courteous and organizedService Department Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our service department. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless experience for our service and sales customers by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Compensation
$17$20 per hour (based on experience)
Full-time position available
Saturday availability is required
Key Responsibilities
Greet service customers warmly and direct them to the appropriate personnel or area.
Answer and manage incoming service-related phone calls and emails including scheduling appointments and providing general information.
Maintain accurate and organized service appointment schedules.
Process customer payments and provide receipts for service transactions.
Schedule contract and process loaner vehicles
Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing data entry and maintaining service department records.
Communicate professionally with customers to ensure their questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
Keep the service waiting area clean organized and stocked with refreshments as needed.
Assist the service advisors and department staff with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in customer service or a receptionist role preferred (automotive experience is a plus).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using computer systems.
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must be available to work on Saturdays.
