The Ceramics Adjunct Instructor and Technical Supervisor will oversee facilities budget and safety in a dynamic Ceramics program servicing art majors and non-art majors. Additionally they will teach a 3-credit introductory course in Ceramics every semester (with an additional stipend). This is a half-time position expected to work 20 hours per week.

Salary / Benefits: Starting at $22880 per year commensurate with experience. The teaching portion starting salary is $1000 per contact hour per semester of teaching commensurate with experience. There are no additional benefits associated with this position.
Working Conditions: The current Ceramics facilities include ample workspace for group and individual projects as well as individual studios for BFA majors. The studios provide a complete array of resources for students including clay production and slip casting equipment throwing wheels and materials for glaze preparation as well as gas electric and raku kilns. The facility includes a hand-building area a wheel-throwing area a clay mixing room a glaze lab a kiln room a computer and periodical room and storage facilities.
