Business Development Manager
This position is for a leading SEA payment service provider that offers omni-channel payment solutions allowing merchants to accept local and international payments through credit and debit cards bank channels (ATMs iBanking and mBanking) and cash acceptance via payment counters. With this comprehensive solution merchants can now transact with both banked and non-banked customers.
Job Description
- Develop a list of prospects to contact on a regular basis.
- Use a mix of outbound outreach methods including LinkedIn/email/phone calls to contact prospects.
- Meet with interested companies to understand their business plans priorities and requirements in detail then provide relevant information on how you can help.
- Engage in business and technical conversations with multiple stakeholders in order to close deals as quickly as possible.
- Coordinate integration and onboarding discussions/activities to help clients start transacting on our platform.
- Analyze potential clients develop strategic planning on how to penetrate to the potential clients and aggressively initiate client engagement from its end.
- Plan and present reports on account progress goals and periodic initiatives to share with Head of Acquisition and peers on a regular basis.
- Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of acquisition process.
- Develop a strong understanding of the e-commerce market and be the first person that a client calls for escalation.
- Work closely with the Partnership and Banking teams to ensure rapport and collaboration between partners and clients.
- Responsible for administrative duties such as preparing reports preparing price quotes.
- Manage the entire sales cycle end to end right from identifying ideal enterprise prospects all the way to closing deals successfully.
- Propose lead and contribute to team projects to refine our sales process.
- Engage with Product teams to represent client needs and drive product strategy.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in Business Development activities especially in Finance related industry e.g. payment gateway etc.
- Strong interpersonal negotiation presenting coaching skillsand analytical skills.
- Organized rational initiative team player and results-oriented.
- Good knowledge and up-to-date with news about trends in the Financial Services sector.
