STUDENT Television and Digital Media courses (TVR) Teaching Assistant Positions

The Park School Communications is accepting applications for Teaching Assistants in the Television and Digital Media courses (TVR) courses. Please apply to this Teaching Assistant opening if you are applying to assist in one of the following courses:

*We will add more TA positions here as classes confirm their needs so be sure to check back for any new opportunities.

  • Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
  • Hours: varies per section
  • Duration: Fall semester
  • Hiring Manager: Professor of each specific course

TVR 11500 (sections 01 02 &03) Intro to TV & Film Prod- Professor Alex Estabrook

Pick up and drop off equipment reservations and assist students with all phases of production activities and classwork adhering to class policies on use of production equipment.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before and received at least a B.
Hours: 4 hours per week per section


TVR 21500-02 TV Series Production - Professor Andy Watts

Picking up and returning equipment to PPECS supporting students during hands-on demos assisting with varied technological needs.

Requirements/Qualifications:Preference given to student who have taken some TV or film production classes.
Hours: 4 hours per week


TVR 10700 (sections 01 &03) Intro to TV Studio Production - Professor Lara Hidalgo Lyon

Assist professor in executing multi-camera productions in the Television Studio.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before.
Hours: 4 hours per week (total for both sections)

TVR 10700-02 Intro to TV Studio Production - Professor Peter Johanns

Assist professor in executing multi-camera productions in the Television Studio.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken the course before.
Hours: 4 hours per week

TVR 22500-01 & 02 TV Prod & Direction - Professor Peter Johanns


Assist professor in executing multi-camera productions in the Television Studio.

Requirements/Qualifications: Student must have taken the course before.
Hours: 4 hours per week (total for both sections)

TVR 29900-01 Nonfiction Production - Professor John Scott

Help to set up equipment supervise and help students during class demos and make posters.

Requirements/Qualifications:Student must have taken & passed the course before.
Hours: 2.5 hours per week

TVR 30400-01 Advanced Studio Production - Professor Peter Johanns

Assist professor in executing multi-camera productions in the Television Studio.

Requirements/Qualifications: Student must have taken the course before.
Hours: 4 hours per week
