Job Description
We invite suitable candidate to join a strong research team in Temasek as a Senior Research Scientist with the following requisites:
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to conduct and lead research in Wireless and Cellular Security in particular the discovery of novel wireless attacks and their detection and mitigations.
The candidate is expected to conduct both theoretical development of methods and experiment design to validate the developed methods.
Other research responsibilities include supervising junior researchers/interns/students carrying out detailed literature review and assessment of the state-of-the-art technologies. planning and executing detailed R&D activities to meet project objectives and deadlines generating novel scientific or technological concepts for application of breakthrough nature and contributing to research proposals.
Administrative responsibilities may include safety asset management and other aspects related to being a member of Temasek
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in Computer Science Computer & Electronics Engineering or other related fields
Strong background and knowledge in Cybersecurity especially network security and cellular security with at least 3-5 years of research experience (including PhD training) in related fields.
Proven track record in research and development of cybersecurity technologies.
Strong publication record in top cybersecurity or systems conferences/journals (e.g. USENIX Security NDSS CCS TDSC TIFS IEEE S&P ACSAC AsiaCCS Eurosys USENIX ATC OSDI SOSP etc.
Strong programming skills in C/C python etc.
Knowledge on machine learning or deep learning is a plus.
Good writing skills for writing proposals reports and publications in good academic journals
