Job Description
Job Title: Locum - Physician - Neurology
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Neurologist to cover locum positions at our state-of-the-art facilities in Bryan and College Station Texas. This opportunity is for a qualified physician who can provide general neurology services and is interested in a 7 on 7 off schedule. Our modern inpatient setting seeks to maintain a high quality of care for our patients over a range of coverage dates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with neurological conditions.
- Provide comprehensive care within an inpatient setting seeing approximately 14-20 patients per day.
- Read EEGs as part of diagnostics and treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
- Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurology.
- Experience in managing inpatient neurology cases.
- Ability to read EEGs is essential.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Texas medical license required for September and October dates; IMLC may be considered for later dates.
- Malpractice history must be clean and is strongly preferred.
