Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology in Bismarck ND
Join an esteemed healthcare facility in Bismarck North Dakota known for its commitment to providing exceptional care and cutting-edge medical services. The practice is actively seeking a locum interventional radiologist to cover an 8-hour day shift typically running from 8 AM to 4 PM with evening and weekend on-call responsibilities. Candidates with general interventional radiology experience are preferred but stroke capabilities are a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions including angiography angioplasty and stenting.
- Conduct interventional procedures such as central lines port-a-cath insertions and IVC filters.
- Execute aspiration drainage procedures and percutaneous needle biopsies.
- Administrative responsibilities including documentation in the Epic EMR system.
- Participate in evening call from 4 PM to 8 AM and 24-hour weekend call shifts.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Radiology.
- Active North Dakota medical license preferred; IMLC accepted.
- Completion of residency or fellowship in a relevant specialty.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in all required interventional procedures.
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification is mandatory.
- A valid North Dakota license is preferred; IMLC is acceptable.
- Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.
