Our client is a global manufacturer of automotive tyre components.
Responsibilities
- Being responsible for evaluating machine efficiency (OEE/TEEP) benchmarking with other entities reporting in management discussions and defining a roadmap for continuous improvement.
- Managing production efficiency (Standard Tires/manhours) benchmarking with other entities participating in management discussions and establishing a continuous improvement roadmap.
- Overseeing plant layout optimizing people and material flow while ensuring an ergonomic 5S-compliant workplace.
- Defining steps for plant production capacity growth to meet current and future demand forecasts from Supply Chain Management.
- Actively engaging in the Global IE community to share insights and implement best practices from other plants.
- Leading Plant Rolling Investment and Capacity Planning meetings setting a 5-year plant roadmap aligned with supply/demand and technology advancements.
- Serving as the Local Key User for IE-related manufacturing systems (e.g. cycle time settings investment and headcount planning/tracking).
- Supporting the development of standard operating procedures.
- Playing a key role in implementing 5S standards on the shop floor.
- Using data analytics and other effective tools conducting workshops as needed to identify and drive improvement opportunities in all areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Production Management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in tyre production or manufacturing.
- Expertise in optimizing manufacturing processes within the tyre industry.
- Proficiency in Continuous Improvement Methods/KAIZEN.
- Knowledge of time study methods (REFA/MOST/MTM).
- Preferably experienced in international projects or cross-cultural work environments.
- Strong command of English.
