What youll work on:

You will be responsible for direct selling new business into FIs such as Mega BanksCentral & Govt funded Banks Investment BanksTier 1 Regional & Shinkin BanksMajor Securities firmsAsset Managements Insurance & Leasing Firms etc. This will include both selling new solutions to existing clients and finding new logo customers. This will include complex multi-stakeholder engagements that can support major transformation within these FIs

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting individual sales quota by growing a robust pipeline of opportunities and regularly communicating on own opportunities
  • Build and execute on a growth plan to exceed sales objectives
  • Leads complex negotiations of commercial and contractual deals
  • Remain aware of product & market trends and responds to client/market demands with relevant products and services to drive revenue.
  • Partner with account management teams on overall sales revenue and retention and role model right behaviours

What we look for:

  • An outstanding individual who can rapidly develop an existing or new network within the FI markets and build deep understandings of the challenges & opportunities of our customers to align GI offerings to support their business.
  • Minimum of 8 years B2B consultative selling experience based on a proven record of sales over multiple years as a new business sales executive.
  • Highly adept at building new contact bases networking with existing organizations and partnering with customers for mutual success.
  • Substantial knowledge of the processes structures and decision making aspectswithin the Mega Banks & wider FIs.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with the affiliates system integrators and distributors to collaborate and expand business.
  • Experience sales selling consultative services/market data solutions within this space.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency (both written and spoken) in Japanese (native) and business English.
  • A bachelors degree in a related industry
  • Experience working within different groups and also collaboratively within a multinational matrix organization
  • Proven exceptional communication selling analytical negotiation problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of utilizing CRM software to track sales opportunities and customer activity
