Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and talented experienced Quality Engineer to design and implementation of quality assurance process ensuring the delivery of high quality software products in the distributed this role you will drive quality and quality-related development work in all team projects. You will work alongside the software development and SRE teams to acquire in-depth knowledge of how each application works in terms of business logic security aspects development environments and production environments. You will design implement and maintain automation roadmap for complex services while also driving advancements in test strategies.
- Proficiency with programming in Java
- Knowledge of Data Driven Testing or Behavioural Driven Development test frameworks
- Experience developing test automation with: TestNG JMeter Selenium
- Solid grasp on REST API fundamentals best practices and its testing concepts
- Skilled in Unix/Linux environments
- Capable of reading/writing QE tools in bash/perl/python
- Familiarity with building test plans and automation for complex full stack applications
- Strong understanding of QE methodologies and SDLC best practices
- A flair for QE automation for high quality and fast release validations
- Good understanding of database technologies including relational and noSQL solutions
- Understanding of security concepts such as PKI X.509 ASN.1 key exchange protocols and authentication protocols
- Ability to read and critique software architecture/designs to increase testability and maintainability
- Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Competency with debugging and root cause analysis
- Experience with performance and scalability testing
- Up-to-date with current and up-coming QE technologies and frameworks
- Understanding of continuous integration and build concepts
- Passion for driving quality into every aspect of a project
- Self-motivated proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Proven time-management skills
- Ability to work with cross functional and globally distributed teams
- Familiar with Agile workflow management
