This role is responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS) policies programs and initiatives across the Asia region. The position also supports global quality efforts to maintain alignment with corporate standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain the regional Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with global standards.
Develop implement and update QMS documentation to meet ISO or regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits from certification bodies suppliers and customers.
Analyze quality data to identify trends risks and improvement opportunities.
Lead customer and supplier complaint processes (CCAR/SCAR) ensuring accurate investigation and closure.
Collaborate with operations technical procurement and cross-functional teams to address product and process issues.
Serve as the management representative including leading Management Reviews and liaising with certification bodies.
Support global quality initiatives tools and systems implementation across the region.
Provide on-the-ground quality support coaching teams on quality tools and continuous improvement.
Review customer quality agreements and manage requests for compliance documentation.
Deliver training on quality standards procedures systems and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering chemistry business or a related discipline.
3–6 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing or a regulated environment.
Certification in Quality Engineering is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of QMS frameworks audit processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
Familiarity with customer and supplier quality processes including complaint management.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret quality data to support decision-making.
Capable of designing and improving quality systems to meet internal and external requirements.
