Job Description

Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Faculty of Dentistry (Ref: 532748) to commence as soon as possible on a six-month or one-year temporary term contract with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree or above in Dentistry Medicine or a relevant discipline. He or she should have a good command of both written and spoken English research experience data analysis skills and academic writing abilities. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility close attention to detail and effective collaboration and teamwork skills. Prior independent research experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Those with higher qualifications and/or more experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I.

This position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining research experience and contributing to ongoing projects in digital dentistry. The appointee will assist the investigator in liaising with related parties collecting analysing and managing data for ongoing research projects; conducting literature reviews and preparing research summaries; supporting clinical studies as required; contributing to manuscript preparation and presentations; and performing other duties as assigned by the principal investigator.
