The Job
We are looking for some new shining stars who will make sure that our guests will have an amazing experience. A warm smile and a friendly conversation go a long way in making someone feel welcomed and the Hostess of THE BUTCHER creates the guests first and lasting impression. As a Hostess you are responsible for creating a warm friendly and incredible environment for THEBUTCHER guests dining experience. Our Hostess thrive on making loyal guests by taking them to their seats and presenting them with clean menus in a courteous quick and professional manner and greeting them with a warm and genuine goodbye. Ultimately youll ensure that we provide excellent guest service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests always with a smile.
Your profile
For this role you should be people skilled and motivated to make sure our guests have an unforgettable dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. The ideally candidate for this role has excellent communication skills a passion for hospitality and thrive in a team based environment.
Job requirements
Responsibilities
A warm and welcoming delivery while processing our valued reserved and walk-in guests
Excellent customer service skills in person and over the phone
Positive attitude and aim to provide communication skills
Provide accurate information and monitor waiting lists
Escort customers to assigned dining area
Provide menus and explain the concept to our guests
Maintain a clean reception and working area
Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children elderly)
Answer incoming calls and address customers queries
Assist waiter staff as needed
Requirements
Excellent customer service skills in person in writing and in speaking
Availability to work in shifts as needed
You livein Amsterdam (or nearby)
Flexible availability on nights and weekends
Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
English needs to be spoken fluently
Available part-time and in the weekends
