Fencer & Groundworker

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Fencer & Groundworker to join our Property Operations team in the South Region. Youll carry out fencing and groundwork repairs from replacing fences and gates to completing a variety of groundworks all while delivering a reliable and professional service our customers can trust.

Salary: 32200 per year

Contract: Permanent full time

Your week: 39 hours per week. MondayFriday 8:30am5pm with one rotating late shift per week (10:30am6pm)

Location: Milton Keynes and surrounding areas

Snapshot of your role

• Repair replace and install all types of fencing gates and ironmongery
• Carry out groundwork repairs including paving ramps driveways and paths
• Complete responsive and planned maintenance to a high standard
• Inspect specify and sign off work including quality checks on contractors
• Provide excellent customer service as a front-line representative of Amplius
• Work safely following health and safety COSHH and PPE requirements
• Keep your work van maintained and report any issues in line with procedures
• Support colleagues by sharing good practice and taking part in extra pay out-of-hours rota when required

Your toolkit for success

• NVQ Level 2 in Fencing Groundwork or Construction
• Strong proven experience of Fencing and Groundwork
• Practical skills and a good understanding of role-related health & safety
• Good communication skills and a positive customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently using a mobile device and tablet
• Team player willing to support and mentor colleagues

A full UK driving license is required for this role. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card for work use.

DBS clearance is essential for this role.
