Job Summary

Were looking for a skilled and reliable Groundworker with experience in deep drainage to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Excavate and prepare trenches for deep drainage systems
Install deep drainage pipes manholes and inspection chambers according to specifications
Work accurately to set levels and gradients ensuring proper flow and compliance with drawings
Handle and operate trench support systems such as trench boxes and sheet piles safely
Work safely around live services and follow all health and safety procedures
Backfill and compact trenches after pipe installation
Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members

Requirements:

Proven experience in deep drainage groundworks
Valid CSCS Card
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and levels
Knowledge of health and safety requirements specific to deep excavation and drainage work
Comfortable working in confined spaces and around live services
Reliable hardworking and a good team player
Right to work in the UK
