Job Description
Were looking for experienced Groundworkers with a strong focus on external works to join our team.
As an External Works Groundworker youll be responsible for completing high-standard external finishes on residential and commercial construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting site plans and drawings
Installing:
Kerbs
Edgings
Block paving
Slabs
Pathways and driveways
Hard and soft landscaping
Road formation and build-up
Ensuring correct levels and falls are maintained throughout
Operating tools and equipment safely
Conducting daily safety checks and reporting maintenance needs
Working safely around live services using service avoidance methods
Desirable:
Valid CPCS/NPORS for machines such as:
Dumpers
Rollers
Telehandlers
Previous experience in a similar external works role
Experience working as part of a skilled team or gang
What We Expect:
Valid CSCS Card
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to work well with others and support site deadlines
Legal right to work in the UK
