AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to support some of our newest as well as evolved services within the AWS Applied AI Solutions portfolio. This role offers a direct business partnership support and will work closely with senior finance management and key business partners to drive product/service pricing cost optimization financial planning decision support and controllership
Key job responsibilities
As a Finance Manager you will work directly with business leaders to identify opportunities and develop business cases. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading and influencing strategic financial decisions to drive long-term growth and profitability including evaluating pricing strategies and investments in new services and features
- Full P&L ownership of all services and partnering with Product Engineering and Sales to assess financial implications of initiatives to accelerate revenue growth improve profitability and improve free cash flow
- Influencing private pricing structures to enable top line growth while ensuring controllership and margin protection
- Managing projects that significantly impact the business including partnering with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizations
- Leading the OP1/OP2 and R&O planning processes including continuously evolving the forecasting approach to align with changing business needs and clearly presenting business drivers and narratives to senior leadership
- Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Weekly Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews
- 5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- MBA MS in Finance CFA or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present analyses and insights to senior management
- Experience in implementing financial reporting and scalable processes
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast paced and rapidly-changing environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication logical reasoning and the presentation of alternatives.
- Strong Passion for complex problem solving
- Excellent Excel skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
