Verifies and maintains accuracy of all part numbers and verification of cylinders
Keeps the database updated on inventory levels and adjusts target levels based on seasonality
Counts in and receives incoming cylinders and assists the Distribution Supervisor with trip load verification for the drivers delivering cylinders to customers
Maintains database with tickets production data input and changes cylinder movements and raw material receipts in SAP on a frequent and daily basis.
Document cylinder gas inventory usage using the required tools
Comply with all applicable facility guidelines procedures and all applicable Airgas Standards and regulatory guidelines including but not limited to: SAFECOR HS&E CGMP OSHA etc
Respond to emergencies to ensure an uninterrupted supply of products.
Monitors and receives cylinder gas deliveries to ensure accurate delivery documentation is completed
Conduct a full inventory count of empty cylinders at specified intervals
Coordinates with the inside sales team and the plants to ensure seamless follow-through with customer service requirements and expectations.
All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work request that falls within the qualifications but not specifically described
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
SAP or similar software system experience
At least one year experience in industrial retail inside sales customer service and/or inventory control-related position
Experience with Google Suite (Gmail Sheets etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in business management finance or similar
Well organized; creative problem solving; strong service orientation
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and work independently and as part of a team
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Make initial evaluations and then obtain proper assistance when confronted with problem situations
