This 6-month fixed-term contract sits at the heart of our Internal Firm Services team in Technology Solutions where we drive smarter people-powered systems to support how PwC works. Based in Tmaki Makaurau / Auckland you play a key role in a major iChris payroll system upgrade translating business needs into impact streamlining processes and helping deliver change that truly makes a difference for our people.

In this role your responsibilities include:

  • Leading business analysis and acting as a liaison across HR Payroll Finance and Technology

  • Reviewing and mapping current payroll processes and supporting future-state design

  • Gathering and translating business requirements into functional iChris system outcomes

  • Influencing and building trust with stakeholders to support adoption and collaboration

  • Supporting end-to-end delivery including testing training documentation and rollout

To be successful in this role you bring:

  • 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or similar with full project lifecycle exposure

  • 2 years hands-on experience with Frontier iChris across at least one system implementation or upgrade

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate

  • Proven critical thinking skills and business acumen - able to challenge assumptions and validate needs

  • Bonus: Familiarity with payroll systems in a global organisation and exposure to AI tools or practices
