About the Role

Whats the mission youll drive
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining world-class user interfaces for our Marketplace including features like search and filters add to the favorites Shopping Cart orders management etc on mobile and web. Over the next 12 months youll work closely with designers engineers and product owners to create seamless efficient high-performing user experiences that deliver outstanding value for our customers and merchants.
What you will do
Take e2e ownership and operate the software that you design develop test and release into production.
Work closely with designers engineers and product owners to build great products and experiences for our clients and allies.
Architect and develop world-class user interfaces which combines usability maintainability and performance.
Develop software on a daily basis using our frontend technical stack based on Typescript Storybook React and React Native (must have).
Review pull requests on a daily basis transferring your knowledge with your team.
Receive mentorship from everyone on the team from more experienced members to people who are just starting.
Deploy new features to production on a daily basis using our CI/CD pipeline.
Be on-call occasionally. We rotate to distribute our knowledge and experience.
Contribute to our Architecture Decision Records where you will be able to propose new techniques patterns and tools for our evolving platform.
What were looking for
You have 5 years of full-time technical work experience as a software engineer. We will adjust the seniority of the role accordingly.
Previous experience working with React Native building mobile applications its a must
Great communication abilities with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to work with a distributed team.
Good foundations in UX/UI design.
Strong expertise building user interfaces using well-structured HTML and CSS code.
Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tools.
Awareness of web performance optimization techniques.

How the hiring process looks like

Step 1: People Interview (30 min)
A conversation with a recruiter to get to know you your experience and what youre looking for. Well also share more about Addi our culture and the role.Step 2: Initial Interview (45-60 min)
A more in-depth conversation with the engineering manager where we explore your skills experience and problem-solving approach. The interview has a system design approach so prepare your self for it! We want to understand how you think and work.Step 3: Take Home Challenge (1 week)
Well send you a practical case youll have 1 week to develop the best code you can using best practices to show all your skills and potential. We would love to see how you interact with the code and your ability to understand the business need and apply it into your solution.Step 4: Deep Dive Interviews (60 min each)
Youll meet future colleagues and cross-functional team members to get a feel for how we work together. Were looking for strong contributors and cultural fits so bring your questions too!Step 5: Co-Founder Interview
If theres a strong match youll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there well move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
