Are you passionate about fostering the next generation of innovators and changemakers The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (EIC) a vibrant hub within the School of Business is looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as an Assistant Manager.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and executing programs that inspire and equip our students with the skills to turn their visionary ideas into reality. If you are a natural leader with a drive for creating impact we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Strategic Impact: Collaborate with the EIC Director to bring our vision to life shaping and executing strategic plans that position the Centre as a leader in entrepreneurship education;
• Lead and Innovate: Take ownership of the EICs portfolio of activities from high-energy competitions and workshops to insightful seminars. Youll manage projects from concept to completion ensuring excellence and innovation at every step;
• Build a Thriving Community: Act as a connector building and nurturing strong relationships with students faculty alumni and industry partners;
• Mentor and Lead: Inspire and guide a dedicated team fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture; and
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Oversee the Centres budget reporting and quality assurance to ensure we deliver outstanding value to our community.

Requirements:

• A bachelors degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience. A background in entrepreneurship innovation or a related field is a strong asset;
• Exceptional communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
• Proven leadership ability with a talent for motivating teams and stakeholders;
• A highly organized self-motivated and collaborative mindset with a keen eye for detail;
• A passion for the entrepreneurial world and a desire to make a difference; and
• Proficiency in digital tools and website management is a plus.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a written test.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review mutual agreement and availability of funding.
