DescriptionKey Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the global finance organization in the monthly close
- Reconcile Intercompany and adjust the difference
- Prepare corporate and other allocations for distribution to global entities
- Prepare and reconcile accrual entries
- Record lease related entries
- Work with the Global Credit team in Ipoh MY to prepare trade receivables and subcon receivables reconciliation
- Reclass credit balance at customer level in receivables
- Review bad debt allowance calculations and prepare the entries
- Update/Maintain intangible assets book and amortization system
- Prepare recurring and one-time journal entries for the monthly close
- Reconcile sub-ledger with general ledger ensuring balance
- Reconcile balance sheet account ensuring balance
- Create ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by Corporate
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Professional Certificate equivalent
- Preferred with 2-4 years working experience in related job
- Able to work under minimum supervision & meet deadlines
- Possess knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
- Able to effectively communicate with working partners at foreign countries
- Experience with common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software Oracle EBusiness Suite preferred
