At our Global Head Office in Rotterdam the Group Financial Controlling team consists of five experienced professionals and is led by the Group Finance Manager. The team works closely together in a collaborative and respectful environment with a shared commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Together the team is responsible for both financial and management reporting for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Beyond core reporting activities the team plays a key role in driving forward numerous finance and accounting-related projects that are essential to supporting Refrescos ambitious growth strategy.

In this challenging and rewarding role you will collaborate with a broad network of international stakeholdersincluding business controlling and finance teams across Europe North America and Australia. Your focus will be to understand business developments and evaluate their impact on our financial reporting.

About the role the tasks and responsibilities are:

• Serve as the first point of contact for business units within the Group on financial accounting and reporting matters with responsibilities divided by region or country.
• Act as a key contact for specific accounting topics across the global organization.
• Contribute to maintaining a clear understanding of the Groups financial position and results and support the business on complex accounting topics and projects.
• Participate in the consolidation of the global dataset for periodic internal and external reporting.
• Analyse and review financial inputs from business units for monthly quarterly and annual reporting cycles following up across all geographies to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Provide relevant financial insights to stakeholders involved in the reporting process.
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for both internal and external purposes.
• Support the accurate application of accounting standards including participation in related projects.
• Draft position papers on IFRS topics and support the adoption and implementation of new IFRS standards across international business units.
• Assist in coordinating and completing the external audit process.
• Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement in financial reporting and related processes.

About you
We are looking for someone with sharp analytical and positive mindset with the following background and experience:

• You have a Master or Post-master in Finance Accountancy or Economics.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience (accounting/ Big4 and finance) in an internationally oriented environment.
• You need to have experience with IFRS or US GAAP and group structures including consolidation procedures.
• You are ambitious yet a grounded and pragmatic individual.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English ( both written and spoken)
• You have a sharp analytical mind are used to working under the pressure of a deadline and get things done.
• You value open communication mutual support and enjoys working together to achieve common goals
