Night - 12 Hour (United States of America)The schedule for this position is 3x12 hour shifts Thursday-Saturday and 1x8 hour shift every other Wednesday.

A Brief Overview
Oversees overnight operations of main campus modalities in Imaging Services (Diagnostic MRI CT Ultrasound and Nursing.) including patient flow and quality assurance. Responsible for monitoring exams and/or images assuring high quality following established departmental and QA protocols using independent judgment and initiative. This position provides relevant input and data to staff regarding individual exams and/or images for QA purposes. This position is adept at intra-departmental communication as well as communication to other departments and uses communication skills and departmental knowledge to ensure safe and efficient operations during the overnight hours. This role is expected to build strong relationships with staff physicians and other departments such as Adult ED and Pediatric ED. The supervisor is expected to create and maintain a positive and engaged radiology overnight staff. Depending on background modality the Imaging Services Overnight Technical Supervisor performs general and specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and/or magnetic resonance imaging and/or computed tomography imaging and/or ultrasound imaging at the required standard of quality. Capable of organizing work priorities and adjusting as circumstances requires. This position demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary of assigned modality to provide exams appropriate to the developmental ages of patients from newborn to adult. Possesses the ability to assess and interpret appropriate data relative to age and to provide care needed as described in the departments policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring/firing scheduling performance evaluations quality reviews timecard reconciliations staff education coaching development support and promotion of customer relations and monitoring of activities to ensure performance standards are achieved.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $68.46 - $90.70 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
