Make a Difference

The Supervisor Medical Imaging is responsible to serve as a facility supervisor to oversee multiple modalities in reference to daily operational issues such as scheduling ordering quality training and day to day operations. They will perform the primary role of a staff imaging technologist as needed to fill in staffing. Additionally theyll serve as a site technical resource for the department.

The Supervisor Medical Imaging will exemplify the following:

  • Clear verbal and communication skills
  • Flexibility in dealing with change
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Utilize radiation safety
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills which are appropriate to the patients age when performing exams

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • Five years experience as an imaging technologist (required) in a hospital setting (preferred)
  • One year supervisory experience (required)
  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology Program
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree and/or Bachelor degree in imaging related field preferred. (Required)
  • Current certificate as a Diagnostic X-Ray Machine Operator by the Indiana Department of Health
  • Current license with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
