Job Description:
- Prepare for production by reviewing the production schedule and work orders assembling and weighing materials and supplies
- Work on both upstream and downstream activities including substrate preparation sterilization dehydration and milling operations.
- Follow regular schedules to operate sanitize and maintain production equipment
- Log work input and maintain records of processing steps
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following the companys operating procedures.
- Operate and maintain instruments and light machinery
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL NEED
- High school education / Associate Degree or relevant experience
- Proven ability to learn and apply routine processes
- Able to communicate effectively in small groups
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to manage time and maintain focus
- Ability to work in small teams and independently
- Interest in wellness applications using mushrooms
DESIRABLE SKILL & BACKGROUND
- Prior experience in food industry biological production and/or the mushroom growing industry
- Understanding and operating machinery
- Experience operating a forklift and/or scissor lift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
