Job Description
If you are a Production Manager looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in Brenham TX you will manage production and maintenance activities to achieve production and service level goals.
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Enhance the safety culture to create a safe work environment for our employees
- Provides leadership in setting expectations for a safe work environment
- Drives safety improvements Provides on-site expertise to achieve safety quality and efficiency Ensures production policies and procedures are accurate and documented
- Implementation and adherence to quality policies and standards
- Ensures use of current revisions and accurate procedures
- Ensures quality training to process procedures that are understood and adhered to
- Works with production group to ensure ISO documentation and training records standards are adhered to
- Organize staff and lead the production function to support business needs
- Organize the workforce to optimize effectiveness and productivity
- Defines and facilitates objectives and metrics; report to leadership on department performance
- Mentors and coaches team members by providing regular feedback and cross training opportunities
- Conducts annual reviews and participate in salary planning activity
- Coordinate scheduling and capacity to achieve lead time and service level objectives
- Develops rates and plans with Master Scheduling P&IC management and engineering
- Provides direction and metrics to ensure development of balanced schedules
- Organizes the production and maintenance work force for optimum effectiveness
- Provides coordination and liaison between production and other departments as needed
- Manage costs to established goals
- Manage budgets consistent with financial objectives
- Maintains reports and accurate record keeping
- Maintains and develops effective and cost reductive programs

For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree
- A minimum of 6 years of management or supervisory experience in a related industry
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to support divisional business objectives
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
