Job Description
JOB TITLE: Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Supervisor
JOB LOCATION:Abuja (FCT)

JOB DETAILS:
- The HSE Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring a safe working environment by developing implementing and maintaining health safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- The role involves compliance with safety regulations conducting safety audits and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and monitor HSE policies programs and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor employees on HSE practices procedures and regulations.
- Investigate accidents incidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all HSE incidents are reported and properly documented.
- Maintain records of safety-related incidents and actions.

- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
- Monitor and assess the safety performance of contractors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HSE role.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. NEBOSH OSHA HSE Level 1-3).
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
