Job Summary

KITE Search are partnering with a leading international consultancy who are well known as a leader in their field. Serving clients across Real Estate and Resources they operate in over 100 offices globally and have built a reputation on quality delivering better outcomes for their clients.

Areas of specialisation include: project management programme management commercial & cost management and advisory services from the inception of a project through to completion and beyond.

With 2021 set to be a busy year we are actively looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyorto join their successful Hong Kong team.

Job Description:

Prepare cost estimates tenders contracts documentations payment and variations assessment and final accounts
Set up cost management processes and ensure implementation among team
Attend key clients team meetings providing strategic guidance on commercial matters and procurement
Implement a value engineering culture identifying opportunities for cost savings
Gain a deep understanding of the clients stakeholders and their needs
Challenge internal processes where necessary and add value to strategic procurement options

Qualifications:

Degree or above qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent disciplines
HKIS or RPS qualified with a minimum 3 years post qualification experience within the public sector
Demonstrated experience on public sector projects in Hong Kong
Experience in working with international clients with the capacity to adapt to new environments
Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills
Proficient in English & Chinese language both written and verbal
