Job Description
KITE Search are partnering with a leading international consultancy who are well known as a leader in their field. Serving clients across Real Estate and Resources they operate in over 100 offices globally and have built a reputation on quality delivering better outcomes for their clients.
Areas of specialisation include: project management programme management commercial & cost management and advisory services from the inception of a project through to completion and beyond.
With 2021 set to be a busy year we are actively looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyorto join their successful Hong Kong team.
Job Description:
- Prepare cost estimates tenders contracts documentations payment and variations assessment and final accounts
- Set up cost management processes and ensure implementation among team
- Attend key clients team meetings providing strategic guidance on commercial matters and procurement
- Implement a value engineering culture identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Gain a deep understanding of the clients stakeholders and their needs
- Challenge internal processes where necessary and add value to strategic procurement options
Qualifications:
- Degree or above qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent disciplines
- HKIS or RPS qualified with a minimum 3 years post qualification experience within the public sector
- Demonstrated experience on public sector projects in Hong Kong
- Experience in working with international clients with the capacity to adapt to new environments
- Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills
- Proficient in English & Chinese language both written and verbal
