What are we looking for
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Protective Services Supervisor to join our Protective Services Department.
Reporting to the Protective Services Security and Control Room Manager you will assist the Protective Services department in leading Cleveland Clinic Londons (CCL) Regional Security Operations London Security Operations Center (LSOC) combined with emergency & disaster management functions to reduce risks to people property and activities in the organisation.
The role is directly responsible for the quality of the patient/visitor experience and for employees within functional areas. The role will create and operationalise measures of success and uses data to make effective decisions that continuously improves security and service operates efficiently and ensures effective stewardship of resources. The Protective Services Supervisor will also assist in coordinating CCLs response to an emergency.

What will your duties include
Recruit manage and supervise the security team including performance management absence management and regular appraisals.
Develop and deliver training programs ensuring staff are familiar with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
Oversee the use of security technology including CCTV access control systems and alarms ensuring efficient operation.
Monitor and ensure the completion of required reports (daily weekly monthly) within established timelines.
Ensure all team members have clear development plans and support them in meeting their professional objectives.
Regularly evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
Perform additional tasks as delegated by management to support department goals.

What we need from you
Valid SIA Door Supervisor (Required)
Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) license (Required)
Military or Police training (Desired)
High school diploma (or equivalent) Security NVQs and supervisory experience ()
Military or police experience or equivalent combination of education training and experience (Desired)
Extensive experience over several roles or equivalent progression in a supervisory security/military/police operational position (Required)
Demonstrable experience and expertise within UK security sector or international experience in a Military or Civilian Operational role (Required)
Demonstrable experience in team leadership in a demanding security operations environment (Required)
Demonstrable experience using up to date technology and leading the team of a 24/7 security operations centre (LSOC) for regional requests relating to emergency management investigations access and egress control badging CCTV surveillance and linked third party management systems (Required)
Experienced and confident in emergency situations such as evacuations disturbances & building lockdowns with the ability to take operational control of first responders and by working within defined processes and procedures guide your team and the organization (Required)
