CHAPLAINS OFFICE

The Chaplains Office was established as early as the founding of Hong Kong Baptist University a leading liberal arts University in Asia proudly built upon the heritage of Christian higher education. Operated with the support of donations the Chaplains Office plays an important role in maintaining a Christian presence and heritage of the University and is committed to character building of students and to provide quality pastoral care and spiritual support to the University community.

Coordinator of Ensemble Music Ministries (Part-time) ()

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct the Christian Choir;
  • Provide music training especially vocal training; and
  • Assist the Chaplain in other music ministries and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree with music professional qualification and at least six years of relevant choir conducting training is an advantage;
  • Possession of good interpersonal communication andorganisational skills is a definite advantage; and
  • Regular rehearsals in the evenings and occasional functions in the evenings and weekends may be required.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term part-time contractfor one year. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review mutual agreement and availability of funding.
