Job Summary
Implement non-trade procurement (NTP)/ indirect policies/procedures and plans. Coordinate and supervise the supplier tender process purchasing activities and reporting. Develop and drive procurement process improvement ideas.
Job Responsibilities
Implement non-trade procurement policies/procedures and plans to ensure cost savings / greater economies of scale.
Coordinate the vendor / supplier tender process after gathering stakeholder requirements. This includes evaluation through category analysis benchmarking contract negotiation and finalization of contract while adhering to compliance and ethical business practices.
Execute the contract renewal/discontinuation process.
Drive compliant behaviors within and outside the organization
Assist on ad-hoc operational Non-Trade Procurement (NTP) needs when required such as special projects.
Assist in the Vendor Creation and Purchase Order (PO) approval process. This includes general stakeholder enquiries on the systems.
Support manager during internal and external audit requirements.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods/services when required.
Create and manage internal vendor catalogs for repeat purchases.
Support in creating / maintaining our tracking and documentation files
Job Requirements
Degree or professional qualification in Business Administration /Accounting/ Finance or a related discipline
Minimum five to eight years experience in a similar role
Preferably 2-3 years experience in a managerial capacity.
Demonstrate good working knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
Demonstrate good working knowledge and hands-on experience in procurement/contract management/vendor management.
Demonstrate excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
