Job Description
A Day in the Life at MKS:
As a Mechanical Engineer at MKS Broomfield you will partner with manufacturing supply chain sales and customers to develop and support vacuum isolation valves fittings specialized mechanical systems and heater systems products.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Working on a team of product design engineers focused on vacuum isolation valves and customized mechanical and heating products for applications in multiple industries.
- Designing estimating & quoting of new designs using machined welded and functional components.
- Working directly with customers to solve difficult problems.
- Working with engineering to update documentation in support of improved product line efficiencies and revenue.
- Working closely with manufacturing in the US Mexico and Asia during the product development launch and volume production phases.
- Participating in the product development lifecycle from idea generation and concept validation to design prototyping testing and final production.
- Ensuring products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through testing and validation.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of Travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
- Technical experience in product development and manufacturing.
- Strong communication influencing and negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with semiconductor capital equipment system or modules.
- Experience working with vacuum systems and/or related technology.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $70000 to $100000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position based on a wide range of factors including qualifications experience and training operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
Bonus and Benefits info if applicable
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in an amount to be determined by MKS or as applicable.
