Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design implement and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS Azure or GCP expertise in DevOps automation and a solid understanding of networking security and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure for applications data platforms and DevOps workflows.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform AWS CloudFormation or Azure Bicep.

• Automate provisioning configuration and scaling of infrastructure resources.

• Monitor and optimize cloud performance cost efficiency and resource utilization.

• Configure and manage networking load balancers firewalls and security groups across environments.

• Implement backup disaster recovery and high availability (HA) strategies.

• Collaborate with development security and data teams to deploy and maintain production systems.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build test and deployment processes.

• Manage identity and access management (IAM) encryption and compliance controls (e.g. SOC 2 HIPAA).

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in development and production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.

• 3 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS Azure or GCP).

• Proficiency in Terraform CloudFormation or similar IaC tools.

• Solid understanding of networking DNS VPN VPCs subnets and load balancers.

• Experience with Linux/Windows server administration and shell scripting (Bash PowerShell).

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes ECS AKS GKE).

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and monitoring tools (CloudWatch Azure Monitor Stackdriver).

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in distributed environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups.

• Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda Azure Functions Google Cloud Functions).

• Exposure to configuration management tools (Ansible Chef Puppet).

• Understanding of DevSecOps Zero Trust and security automation practices.

• Knowledge of logging and monitoring stacks (ELK Prometheus Grafana).

• Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and Helm charts.

• Certification in AWS (Solutions Architect SysOps) Azure Administrator or Google Professional Cloud Engineer.
