Job Description

To strengthen our team we are recruiting for a:

Business Development Manager

Sharp Clinical Services (EU/UK) Business Development are looking to grow their team. With our colleagues based in mainland Europe and UK we want to bring in new talent to have geographical focus on areas such as DACH/southe east Europe Region. With responsibility for client development and sales attainment in line with the clinical business plan.

At Sharp we are growing and with growth comes opportunities we are looking for someone who is nearing readiness for that next step or currently there but willing to learn the Sharp business over the next year ready for more senior responsibilities. Its a great opportunity for the right candidate.

Position

  • Development of Clinical Trial Services business opportunities within the European and Global pharmaceutical industry to support site and sales objectives
  • Develop an in depth knowledge of Sharp Clinical Services capabilities
  • Identification prioritization and development of business opportunities within the Global pharmaceutical industry compatible with the site sales objectives
  • Identify risk areas and build and manage contingency into the account portfolio and sales/revenue streams
  • Maintenance of account development plans and delivery of RFQ sales and milestone objectives in line with business targets
  • Develop value added solutions and partnerships with our clients with the service and operational functions to grow and secure revenue
  • Facilitation of proposal generation in a timely manner with commercial team
  • Responsibility for negotiation and closure of proposals with allocated clients
  • Transition of new projects into the service and operational organization in a documented and timely manner

Profile

  • Science/Business Graduate or equivalent
  • 5-10yrs of clinical trial supply chains with experience in clinical packaging preferred.
  • Business Development/sales experience within a GMP environment
  • Proven track record of sales success in CMO/CPO/Clinical Supplies Services
  • Fluent in German and/or Dutch and English written and oral is essential
  • Experience of successful selling within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sectors in DACH/southeast Europe Region
  • It is essential that all employees in this role have a valid driving license to drive the EU and UK.
