Job Summary
General Ledger Accountant
We have an exciting opportunity of General Ledger Accountant to join the finance team of TenCate Geosynthetics (TCG) in Hengelo.
This position is a professional financial position performing a wide variety of activities within Accounting under the supervision of the Plant Controller.
The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for:
- Manage general ledger / cost center administration
- Supervise bank bookings & payment transactions
- Master data management
- Booking of purchase invoices; handling of declarations
- Prepare sales invoices (service)
- Accounts receivable management; Credit limit management
- Fixed assets administration
- International IC reconciliation
- VAT ICP & CBS declarations
- Support with period closure
- Cash flow planning support
- Management fee administration and settlements
Required and Desired Skills and Experience:
- Min. MBO-4 education level
- 3 or more years of experience in an international industrial environment
- Extended knowledge of SAP
- Effective verbal listening and written communication skills (particularly in Dutch and English)
- Effective organizational stress and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Hands-on and pro-active
- Enterprising personality
Salary:
based on a fulltime job and other secondary employment conditions.
TenCate Geosynthetics (TCG) is the leading manufacturer of geosynthetics including wovens nonwovens (mechanically or hydraulically entangled fibers) geogrids and further fabrications of each for general applications in civil works and infrastructure as well as more niche applications including water & environment and industrial fabrics. TCG is a global business generating global sales in Americas EMEA and APAC of which a significant portion is directly related to government spending.
TCG EMEA has plants in Linz (Austria) Bezons (France) and Hengelo. The location in Hengelo (100 FTEs) has a weaving department with about 30 looms and a construction department.
