Job description Junior Legal Officer Amstelveen
Our client is a Corporate Financial Services provider for many international and Dutch clients.
The office is modern and the atmosphere is very hands-on and quite informal. The lines with management and other colleagues are short and the door is always open if you have any questions.
They currently have 15-20 people and they are growing. The team consists of both financial and legal professionals with many different nationalities. The spoken language in the office is English.
The job role:
We are currently looking for a junior legal officer who has the capacity and wishes to grow within the company in the future. This is a client-facing role and therefore we are looking for a person who is strong and confident in this role you will also have several Compliance responsibilities.
Work closely with a team of other junior/mid-level legal officers and with your senior manager
Incorporation of companies
Contact with KVK (Chamber of commerce)
Contact with external notaries tax offices external accountants and colleagues from other
teams
Running compliance checks.
Onboarding of new clients.
Building and maintaining good customer relations
Attend and minute board meetings
Handling the daily management of client entities and corporate legal matters in accordance
with Dutch corporate law and regulations under the supervision of a Senior Legal Manager
Maintaining client files properly by drafting reviewing and revising corporate legal
documentation accurately and promptly
Providing timely and accurate administration and coordination of deadlines for corporate legal
matters in collaboration with the Senior Legal Manager
Identifying legal and fiscal aspects queries and issues related to client structures and
proposed transactions consulting with third parties for advice when needed
Characteristics:
Hands-on inquisitive enthusiastic.
Fluency in English
Knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage but not a must.
