Job Description

The Koriyama Factory located in Koriyama Fukushima is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where quality assurance is at the forefront. Our team is committed to ensuring compliance and driving quality activities across all departments. With approximately 1000 employees we work collaboratively to support GMP/QMS-related tasks and ensure inspection/audit readiness. The GMP Partner position will be directly reporting to the Koriyama Factory Head.

The position
As a GMP Partner you will:

  • Support the Manufacturing Supervisor in ensuring compliance by aligning Koriyama Factorys QMS/GMP with J-GMP standards.
  • Oversee compliance checks on the shop floor in both Production and Quality Control.
  • Stay updated on GMP requirements and implement them within the GMP/QMS framework.
  • Act as the primary contact for GMP audits/inspections facilitating arrangements and follow-up actions.
  • Provide support across departments regarding deviations and audit findings while coordinating GMP activities and ensuring ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Pharmacy (preferably as a pharmacist) Sciences or Pharma Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of international standards and local regulations.
  • Experience and knowledge in production and quality control laboratories.
  • Fluent or native in Japanese with business-level proficiency in English.
  • Strong ability to work independently take initiative and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
