You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailApplications are invited for appointment as Head of Teaching and Learning (at the rank of Assistant Registrar) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 532908) (to commence as soon as possible on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 10 years team leadership experience in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing academic curricula with expertise in curriculum development and enhancement pedagogical design assessment and examinations quality assurance education partnerships and the oversight of teaching & learning facilities. Experience in organizing accreditation visits implementing education technology & multimedia learning initiatives and liaising with academic departments is highly desirable. We seek exceptional strategic thinkers with excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese sound decision-making ability and a demonstrated capacity to work independently and solve complex problems. Additional experience in leading special projects in a university context will also be advantageous.
The appointee will head the Faculty Offices Teaching and Learning (T&L) team overseeing all curricular affairs for our undergraduate programmes including both professional and non-professional degrees in clinical sciences and health sciences. Occasional work outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
