Description
The System Administrator shall be responsible for providing support for a large-scale Linux system including installation of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software day-to-day operations monitoring and problem resolution for all the compute network memory and storage system addition the System Administrator shall maintain the system security integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Position Required Skills
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
- Experience performing System Administration including installation configuration and support of COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a large-scale Linux cluster environment
- General technical knowledge regarding compute network memory and storage system components
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite systems management solution
- Familiarity using Splunk for ingesting indexing searching monitoring and analyzing big data
- Experience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations monitoring and problem resolution
- Experience configuring and sustaining VMware ESXi/Virtualization environments
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack and Ansible
- Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures
- Experience using system monitoring tools such as HPE One View and Nagios
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Experience with distributed files systems such as Weka CEPH GPFS and HDFS
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence
Qualifications
An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $250K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including but not limited to Contract Wage Determination relevant work experience skills and competencies that align to the specified role geographic location education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor addition we invest in our employees beyond just compensation.
