Job Description
JOB TITLE: State Programme Officer
JOB LOCATIONS:Abuja Lagos and Edo
ADVERTISEMENT
JOB DETAILS:
- The post holder will support the implementation and effective monitoring of the ActionAid Nigeria reintegration and empowerment project in the respective state.
- S/he will provide programme specific support to the various livelihood and reintegration initiatives of the project and work as an interface between ActionAid Nigeria and project participants at the state level.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications:
- First Degree in Social Sciences or Arts / Humanitiesis essential.
- Membership of relevant professional Instituteis desirable.
Experience:
- At least 3 years post NYSC experience 2 of which should bein a similar position in the development sectorisessential.
- Experience in community mobilization isessential.
- Experience working on migration and livelihood issues isessential.
- Experience working on a similar project and intervening at community levelsis desirable.
- Experience working with youth women groups and persons with disabilitiesis desirable.
Skill / Abilities:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication & writing skills
- Ability to implement data management systems
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills
- Excellent (proven) interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English language.
- Computer skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
