Whats the role
Youll be part of a passionate and forward-thinking team within Westpac Institutional Bank helping to shape the future of finance through sustainable solutions. Based in either Sydney or Melbourne this full-time role supports the origination structuring and execution of labelled debt products for our corporate and institutional customers - think green loans sustainability-linked structures and more.
Youll contribute to Westpacs external positioning on ESG and sustainability help manage key data and risk processes and collaborate across teams to deliver meaningful impact. Its a dynamic purpose-led environment where your ideas and energy will help drive change.
What do I need
To thrive in this role youll bring a mix of curiosity collaboration and a genuine interest in sustainability. Heres what will help you succeed:
- A strong interest in environmental or social issues and a desire to grow your knowledge of sustainable finance.
- Solid analytical and research skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in banking and/or legal documentation advantageous but not essential as we value a willingness to learn and grow in these areas.
- Comfort with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
