Job Description

Job Description
As an Associate Program Manager for Community Partnerships in New York City youll be at the forefront of creating opportunities in New York City by leading the implementation of our Community Impact Hub strategy. Youll guide the design and pilots of this exciting initiative working with local partners to create impactful programs for young people in the creative economy. Your days will involve program design partner engagement and project management all while keeping a community-centered and equity-focused approach. This role is remote eligible in the New York City area which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.

What youll do
  • Support the implementation and development of the NYC Community Impact Hub.
  • Identify and onboard local programmatic partners and conduct community needs assessments.
  • Collaborate with evaluation teams to incorporate evidence-based methodologies.
  • Facilitate stakeholder learning conversations to continuously improve program design.
  • Manage grants to local non-profits supporting programming.
  • Plan coordinate and execute all advisory committee meetings including agenda development meeting logistics and follow-up actions.

Basic qualifications
  • 4 years of experience in partnership development relationship management or program coordination
  • 4 years of demonstrated excellent organizational and project management skills
  • 4 years of demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications
  • Knowledge of the New York City business landscape and youth development issues
  • Experience with volunteer or committee management
