About the role!

The Associate Institutional Giving and Partnerships is responsible for supporting the growth and stewardship of CHCs corporate and foundation partnerships. With a focus on sponsorships grants volunteer engagement and reporting this role is ideal for a personable detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced mission-driven environment.

Working closely with the Director of Institutional Giving the Associate Institutional Giving and Partnerships plays a key role in driving donor engagement tracking impact and developing compelling written materials. This position is both externally facing and internally collaborative with responsibilities spanning research writing donor stewardship and logistics. This position currently reports to the Director of Institutional Giving.

As Associate Institutional Giving and Partnerships you will:

Corporate Engagement & Sponsorships (30%)

  • Support cultivation and stewardship of corporate partners.
  • Assist in creating and packaging customized sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate sponsor benefit fulfillment (logo placements event recognition etc.).
  • Manage logistics for donor engagement activities and maintain relationship records in CRM.

Grant Writing & Reporting (30%)

  • Assist in writing and submitting compelling corporate and foundation grant proposals.
  • Support the creation of detailed timely reports for funders that highlight impact and outcomes.
  • Track reporting deadlines and submission history in CRM and calendar tools.
  • Collaborate with Program and Finance teams to collect relevant data and metrics.

Prospect Research & Pipeline Support (20%)

  • Conduct research on corporate and foundation prospects aligned with CHCs mission.
  • Monitor donor databases news sources and internal networks for new opportunities.

Volunteer Management (10%)

  • Serve as point of contact for corporate and community volunteer opportunities.
  • Work with Program and Marketing teams to plan meaningful well-executed volunteer experiences.
  • Track participation and develop follow-up communications and recognition.

Team & Administrative Support (10%)

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking of donor interactions in Raisers Edge or Salesforce.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings donor events and projects.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings and planning to align fundraising and program goals.

  • Commitment to CHCs mission to promote mental health and learning equity.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the corporate and/or foundation philanthropic landscape; existing connections or experience working with funders is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Personable and professional; able to represent CHC with warmth and credibility.
  • Proactive and collaborative; takes initiative and thrives in a team environment.
  • Eager to learn and grow; embraces feedback and continuous improvement.

About your background (education/experience):

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in fundraising writing client services or nonprofit development.
  • Demonstrated ability to write persuasively for external audiences (writing sample may be requested).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor CRM systems (Raisers Edge or Salesforce preferred).

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to occasionally lift move and/or set-up stacks of documents such as training binders or other training materials lap-top computers flip charts and other materials required for meetings and presentations.

Required to work for extended periods of time at a computer.

Special Job Requirements:

  • Flexibility will be required in work schedule; evening and weekend hours may be required.

Compensation:

Range: $110000-$125000 per year

Pay Type: salary

* The starting base salary for this position is as shown above. The actual base salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background training work experience location business needs and market demand. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
