Summary:
We are looking for a skilled machinist to join our team at Moritex Technologies in Shenzhen China. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating various machine tools and be able to set up and operate a variety of machines to produce high-quality parts. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for precision manufacturing we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
2. Adjusts single spindle automatic cutters; boring mills; grinders etc. to perform various operations on large parts instruments or tooling.
3. Operates computer numerical control (CNC) lathes milling machines drills boring machines grinders and other equipment.
4. Adjusts and operates heat-treat tanks furnaces and quenching tanks to harden and temper metal parts.
5. Applies measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications; makes adjustments as necessary.
6. Maintains records of production and activities.
7. Observes all safety precautions and maintains a clean work area.
8. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
9. Ensures quality standards are met within established tolerances.
10. Comply with company policies & procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma / GED equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
At least 3 years experience as a machinist in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of machine shop practices and procedures.
Experience with CNC lathes and milling machines.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Fluency in English and Chinese languages required.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
