As a leader in advanced separation solutions we are looking for a Field Service Engineer to support our company in delivering service to clients in the food chemical energy and marine industries.

Your location in Bulgaria is flexible what truly matters is your commitment to delivering excellent service supporting our customers on-site and ensuring optimal performance of our equipment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing services and providing technical support to customers covering mainly centrifugal separators centrifugal decanters heat exchangers etc.
  • Main services: preventive maintenance field service mechanical jobs mechanical and electrical tasks start-up commissioning software upgrade
  • Other services: support other service engineers either on distance or on site perform equipment inspections and audits maintain control cabinets calibrate and optimize VFD
  • Doing service jobs for marine industry customers (centrifugal separators BWTS heat exchangers)
  • Troubleshoot investigate and resolve mechanical and electrical problems with application and deep product knowledge on customers site
  • Provide technical service support and training to customer for local customer base
  • Preparation of the service job to execute / resolve at the shortest possible time
  • Write advanced (external/internal) service report on site and get it signed by the customer
  • Report unsafe practices incidents and work for continuous improvement
  • Capture Installed Base on site and communicate sales opportunities to sales organization
  • Proactive service advice to customers relating to the Alfa Laval Service Offerings portfolio

Your qualifications:

  • 2-3 Years of technical and/or field service experience in mechanical electrical heat transfer and/or working with rotating machinery
  • Technical secondary or higher education (preferred fields: mechanics mechatronics mechanical engineering process engineering)
  • Service-oriented and motivated by being the one who can solve customer technical challenges
  • Willingness to perform service activities throughout Bulgaria
  • Availability for frequent business travel
  • Communicate well with everyone and thrive with a dynamic everyday life that offers new tasks all the time
  • Hold B-drivers license
  • Fluency in Bulgarian and good command of English
  • Good work organization and ability to work independently
  • High personal culture and customer service orientation.
