Job Description
Are you a visionary business leader with a passion for driving innovation performance and strategic growth Teknor Apex is seeking a Vice President Business Manager to lead our Engineered Plastics and Elastomers products division which includes our TPE and ETP product portfolios. This executive role is critical to setting the strategic direction and driving execution to deliver long-term value across domestic and global markets.
As the business leader youll spearhead transformation and lead a high-performing organization that thrives on innovation customer focus and cross-functional collaboration. Youll partner across our global leadership team to deliver exceptional business results and a customer experience that stands out in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the vision for the division aligned with corporate goals repositioning products as high-value industry-specific solutions.
- P&L Management: Own full financial responsibility for the divisiondrive revenue growth optimize profitability and ensure budget and investment alignment.
- Global Growth Execution: Expand the business footprint leading both organic and strategic growth initiatives across international markets.
- Operational Excellence: Scale operations efficiently by aligning resources capital planning and data-driven systems to support growth and profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a strategic liaison across sales R&D supply chain and executive leadership to deliver unified market-leading solutions.
- Innovation & Product Strategy: Guide new product development (NPD) and IP strategy to ensure long-term competitive advantage.
- Customer & Market Focus: Cultivate senior-level relationships with key customers and suppliers to foster strategic partnerships and uncover new opportunities.
- Talent Development: Mentor coach and elevate team performance while developing future leaders through high-impact career paths.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 15 years in business management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Education: Advanced degree (MBA MS or equivalent) in Business Engineering Chemistry or related discipline preferred.
- Leadership Impact: Demonstrated ability to influence inspire and deliver results at the executive levelboth internally and externally.
- Global Mindset: Experience managing across multiple geographies and leading diverse teams with cultural sensitivity.
- Strategic Acumen: Ability to make complex decisions quickly manage competing priorities and execute flawlessly in a dynamic market.
