Job Description
This team is responsible for coding and supporting solutions tailored to the front office (financial market business) working directly with traders. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to drive high-quality software development practices in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Main Objectives and Activities
- Work with an agile squad to deliver solutions to meet the business requirements.
- Work closely with traders and front office teams to thoroughly understand their requirements and deliver solutions that effectively align with business objectives.
- Be proactive to take responsibility and have good communication with the team
- Be creative to propose a solution for better performance or UI usage
- Coordinate with developers DevOps and architects to present or review the solution and source code
- Provide feedback to improve Norms and Processes and development techniques.
Experience and Skills
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or Software Architecture specializing in AngularJS or ReactJS and Java.
- Expertise in Java Spring Boot RESTful & SOAP APIs and Microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of data storage systems such as Cassandra or PostgreSQL is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Good command of English
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a financial or enterprise software environment.
- Experience with the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol is an advantage
- A curious mindset with a passion for learning the financial market trading business and products.
