CONTRACTS MANAGER
As an experienced QS do you like to act as a key player on major projects and make a difference
Do you want to work for a company who works on some of the biggest projects in Singapore and have the reputation as the employer of choice
Our client is an MNC Contractor in Singapore. They have a number of current large scale groundbreaking projects with tenders in place for some of Singapores most prestigious upcoming projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Claim Support to the client
- Claim support from Subcontractors
- Prepare letter to client sub-contractors and agencies
- Acting as the main point of contact for contractual related matters from Division managers and project managers
- Strong experience handling Variations & Contracts.
- Strong negotiation skills needed and good strong communication skills.
- Liaising with technical and financial staff sub-contractors QS teams and the clients own representatives (if needed)
- Collecting information & document from each department.
- Preparation of claim notice claim report with all the backup documents.
- Independent able to work effectively under minimal supervision and yet work well in a team
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude towards improving work processes and systems
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 15 years relevant working experience
- With experience ideally within Marine or Heavy Civil Engineering projects.
- Strong focus on handling Contracts & Claims.
- A strong confident personality able to hold their own with project stakeholders.
- Excellent project skills good communication & interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated good working attitude with a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Organized analytical with excellent problem solving skills proactive good team player and able to meet tight deadline
